Bahia Feliz is a small settlement with a very good infrastructure. There is a shopping centre, boutiques, restaurants, cafés and pubs, so that guests not necessarily depend on renting a car. You can enjoy a walk along the beautiful seaside promenade which will take you into San Agustin or Playa del Ingles within 20-30 minutes. In the settlement you will nevertheless find some inexpensive car hire.

Pool: Enjoy swimming in the pool which is heated all year round and overlooks the sea. Refreshment or small snacks are served at the pool bar. Sun beds are at your disposal around the pool area for sun bathing after swimming.

Sports: Windsurfing and Kite surfing: Club Mistral has it’s main base directly on the beach in Bahia Feliz. There are approx. 70 boards with 100 rigs as well as state of the art kites at your disposal. Mountain biking: Gran Canaria is an island with innumerable routes, which are suitable not only for bicycle fans but also for visitors, seeking direct contact with nature. Let it be a down-hill or a long distance ride – the bike is a perfect vehicle to experience indescribably beautiful landscapes. State of the art and high quality bikes may be rented directly in the proximity. Organised tours are also available. Trekking: The entire island is covered by an ample network of trekking routes. There are easily accessible pathways, “caminos reales”, donkey paths and in addition, small ways and paths, which are reserved for the experienced trekker. Tennis: There are two tennis courts close by.

Wellness & Activities: Europe’s largest centre of Thalassic therapy lies close by and offers a choice of wellness spas, relaxation and swimming in hot sea water. Also a detailed medical examination for the preparation of a personal program, massage, water gymnastics, bubble bath, underwater shower, pressure shower, sauna followed by body-peeling, cleaning of the skin with massage, manicure, pedicure, algae-therapy, bubble-bath with algae, facial treatment or treatment to improve skin texture as well as treatment for rheumatic complaints are offered.

Golf: Of all the golf courses in the world many cannot compete with Gran Canaria, because the island has a special advantage: the climate as well as the possibility of being able to play golf during the whole year. Today Gran Canaria has six golf courses, they are spread out across the island with a distance of no more than 50 kilometres between each one. Shortly this list will be extended to a four further golf courses, which are currently being built. A further advantage of Gran Canaria golf courses is their competitive price, which is below the average. The Green fee of the 18 hole courses costs here about 50 Euros in the off season (between May and September) and 70 Euros in the remaining months.

We recently spent a week here and it was beautiful. The accommodation is lovely -clean and nicely furnished. The pool area and bar are spotless, gorgeous views over the Atlantic.
The complex itself is quiet, perfect for us as that was what we wanted, if you are looking for somewhere lively this is not for you!
A short walk along the seafront is the plaza in Bahia Feliz and there is a pretty square with 4 restaurants and various shops. This is lovely, however the food becomes rather repetitive and isn't cheap.
All in all a fantastic holiday, so good in fact we're booking up for 2 weeks in the summer - we'll hire a car next time though so we can go a bit further afield.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This apartment is really beautiful-well furnished with all amenities & immaculate.It is a real "home from home" & is by far the most comfortable accommodation we have enjoyed anywhere. The view from the apartment is second to none. Close to many fine restaurants. Having said all that the complex itself was quiet & peaceful enabling us to relax & unwind. We particularly enjoyed the lovely walks along the costal paths every day with breath taking views. A fantastic holiday & the owners attention to detail could not be surpassed. We will be back soon & will recommend the apartment to friends & family. Thank you so much Chris & Teresa

Great stay in Gran Canaria

We returned from this apartment last week and I have to say that it is one of the nicest that I have stayed in for a long time, it has everything you need very comfortable and also quiet. When my girlfriend and I arrived at this property we were delighted. It was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and modern. The complex as a whole is very secure and a peaceful place to stay. This apartment has everything you could possibly ask for either a short or long term visit for both couples and families. We have stayed in Gran Canaria on several occasions but this rates as the best due to the fabulous apartment. Thank you and we hope to book with you next year. Ruben & Helen

Just spent 14 days at this apartment in Feb 2009. The apartment was fully equipted with everthing the holidaymaker requires. The location is excellent close to the sea and beach, shops, bars & restaurants. The complex was quite and very well maintained and spotless and the views from the terrace of the apartment were great. We would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful place. It is a must.

I good money for what I thought was a luxury apartment and what I got was average at best. We arrived late on the Tuesday and went to collect the keys from the manager who went with us to the apartment. He didn't really show us anything other than letting us in. He was very friendly however. The TV didn't work. I couldn't access the Internet and the apartment really needs refurbishing. I tried to ring the manager but he didn't answer his mobile or home phone. We eventually spoke with his wife who said he would contact us in the morning. We didn't even unpack. There are 2 bathrooms but they are not ensuite which was difficult as we were with friends. In the morning the shower in the second bathroom didn't work at all. We tried numerous times to contact the manager who eventually came round. We said that the photo;s he had sent were of a different apartment and were much better than this. He said they were example photo's. He was unaware that the freezer door and bin were broken or that numerous items of equipment advertised were not available. He explained that between 8 and 9 the gardener waters the garden so the water pressure is too low for the second shower. The TV (which was not flat panel) needed connecting differently to work. He claimed that he had no other complaints. He offered us 50% refund if we wanted to leave. I settled on 1 night and cleaning fee. The apartment is in a fantastic location however it is not worth more than half what we paid due to its condition. We a reduced price to avoid the hassle of finding another place a short notice he initialy agreed but when we contacted him later he claimed that the apartment was rented and he wanted us out by 3pm. We moved to a much nicer complex down the road which had just been refurbished. It cost us more BUT it was the luxury we thought we were getting. If you book make sure you know what you are getting.
Owner's Response: The most important thing for us is to offer our clients wonderful holidays in a splendid apartment situated in an extraordinary location. So that they leave the apartment after a perfect stay recovered and satisfied. Therefore most of our clients come back and much of them are regular guests. Not without reason they reviewed our apartments always with the best notes.

I am very disappointed that this client turn everything upside down. In fact my impression from the beginning was that he tried to find reasons to reduce the price. He said in his review that he had booked the luxury apartment, but this is the first thing what not matches the truth. He booked and paid the Apartment - Bahía Feliz at the sea for up to 5 persons, which is of cause much lower rated than the luxury apartment.

The facts are: He came late at night. I went with him to show the apartment and to give an introduction. I showed him every single room, also the balcony. I explained how the facilities in the kitchen works, that we had put a 5 liter water bottle for cooking tea and coffee, a welcome package with tee, milk, sugar and some refreshing drinks and beer in the refrigerator. Furthermore I recommended some restaurants and supermarkets and how to come there. After this, at least 20 minutes, I said goodbye without forgetting to express to contact me if he would have questions, desires or in case of problems.

One and a half hour later he called to tell that he can`t connect to the internet and the TV wouldn´t work. Next early morning I found the TV and the Internet working. Also the other things which were allegedly not in a satisfying condition, like the shower in the second bathroom were working. After this he tried to find more negative things and offered me to half the amount.
I suggested to reduce the price to a reasonable amount for this inconvenience, but he didn´t accept. Only for the half amount he would like to stay. I offered him to give the money back and to charge only one night and the cleaning fee.

About 2 hours after he left the apartment he sent me the following message on my mobile: Dear renter. After having looked around we have decided to take your offer. King regards.

Because of the apartment wasn´t free furthermore now he seem to revenge by this way to revile the apartment. That’s a real sad story which we never had experienced all the years.
